Installation Ceremony

2010-2011 Installation Ceremony
The installation ceremony of Lions Club of Port Blair for the year 2010-2011 was held at Hotel Bay Island recently. Lion V Nathan has been installed as President along with his team of office bearers for the year 2010-11. MJF Lion Padmini Gunaraja, District Chairperson was the chief guest and installation officer. MJF Lion Sasi Kala, District Chairperson, Smti. Ratna Kannan, Chairperson, SSWB were also present on the occasion.
In his address, the new President of the club mentioned about the projects to be initiated by his team members, like inauguration of RO Plant (Purified Drinking water) at Model School, One more RO Plant at Nirmala School , Traffic awareness programmes, career guidance for the students, free medical camps, study and play materials for aanganwadi schools.
Shri T Daniel Vijayarajan, Teacher was also appreciated for his service towards the development of the students, with certificate and memento during the programme.
